Happy St Valentine’s Day

Image of Liz Doyle for Happy St Valentine's Day blog

Happy St Valentine’s Day to you. Here we are on the day of love but I think it’s all about loving yourself unconditionally and believe me, this is profound.

Sounds simple but not so easy to do.

So instead of looking outside ourselves for love, tell yourself you are loved, loving and lovable.

Just because we exist we are always enough.

Imagine if we could all love ourselves more every day?

Do you think how we’re treated by others would change?

Do you think we would treat others differently?

Can you imagine how that would affect the world? .

I don’t need anyone else’s approval to love myself completely and unconditionally. I am enough and so are you. . You are enough.

It’s not selfish to put yourself first – doing something just for you is so important.

What can you do for yourself today or this evening?

The video, will encourage you to do just that:

What can you for you today?

Here Are some of my favourite Positive Affirmations To Help You Love Yourself and Bring More Love into Your Life:

I choose to see clearly with eyes of love. I love what I see.

Love is around every corner, and joy fills my entire world.

Today, I remember that Life loves me and will reward me.

I rejoice in the love I encounter every day.

I am surrounded by love. All is well.

I am comfortable looking in the mirror and saying, “I love you. I really love you.”

I draw love and acceptance into my life, and I accept it now.

Love is all there is!

Have a wonderful day and evening if you have a partner and if you don’t because love always starts with you 🌹🌹🌹😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️

My one to one coaching sessions are all about loving ourselves and throughout the 6 sessions, we have exercises to do exactly that.

They are for anyone who are feeling a bit stuck in life.

It could be that lots of areas are working for them but in one area, for instance, their relationships are proving difficult and challenging.

That could be current or previous intimate relationships, those with their family or even their colleagues and/or bosses.

At the workshop, they will find ways to identify the blocks that are in the way and understand where they first came from.

This awareness will then lead to letting go of those old beliefs that held them back. These beliefs could be about themselves or about others. 💜

My sessions are not heavy nor miserable but have loads of moments that have real fun and humour as well as being totally uplifting. They are also a very safe and confidential place where women can express and explore their feelings at a much deeper level. 💜

If you want to know more about what it’s all about, here is the link to find out more.

Whatever you’re up to – Happy St Valentine’s Day ♥️

Louise Hay

Louise Hay

Although Louise Hay was a pioneer in personal development there’s a lot of people I talk to who have never heard of her.

Here’s a little intro to who she was and her work.

This is why I love sharing her work 💜💜

Love Yourself Heal Your Life

There is quite a lot of info out there about Louise and in my upcoming blogs I’ll be sharing a lot more about her.

However, the following is something very special that she shared in her teachings. I have the honour to work through these steps, in depth, with my clients during one of our sessions.

I will share a shortened version but these 12 steps are so powerful ♥️

How to Love Yourself – Louise Hay

1. Stop all criticism. Criticism never changes a thing. Refuse to criticise yourself. Accept yourself exactly as you are. Everybody changes. When you criticise yourself, your changes are negative. When you approve of yourself, your changes are positive.

2. Forgive yourself. Let the past go. You did the best you could at the time with the understanding, awareness & knowledge that you had. Now you are growing & changing and you will live life differently.

3. Don’t scare yourself. Stop terrorising yourself with your thoughts. It’s a dreadful way to live. Find a mental image that gives you pleasure (mine is yellow roses), and immediately switch your scary thought to a pleasurable thought.

4. Be gentle and kind and patient. Gentle with yourself. Kind to yourself. Patient with yourself as you learn the new ways of thinking. Treat yourself as you would someone you really loved.

5. Be kind to your mind. Self-hatred is only hating your own thoughts. Don’t hate yourself for having the thoughts. Gently change the thoughts.

6. Praise yourself. Criticism breaks the inner spirit. Praise builds it up. Praise yourself as much as you can. Tell yourself how well you are doing with every little thing.

7. Support yourself. Find ways to support yourself. Reach out to friends and allow them to help you. It is being strong to ask for help when you need it.

8. Be loving to your negatives. Acknowledge you created them to fulfil a need. Now you are finding new, positive ways to fulfil those needs. So, lovingly release the old negative patterns.

9. Take care of your body. Learn about nutrition. What kind of fuel does your body need to have optimum energy and vitality? Learn about exercise. What kind of exercise can you enjoy? Cherish and revere the temple you live in.

10. Mirror work. Look into your own eyes often. Express this growing sense of love you have for yourself. Forgive yourself looking into the mirror. Talk to your parents looking into the mirror. Forgive them, too. At least once a day say: “I love you, I really love you!”

11. LOVE YOURSELF- DO IT NOW! Don’t wait for until you get well, or lose the weight, or get the new job, or the new relationship. Begin NOW- do the best you can.

12. Have Fun.  Remember the things that gave you joy as a child. Incorporate them into your life now. Find a way to have fun with everything you do. Let yourself express the joy of living. Smile. Laugh. Rejoice, and the Universe rejoices with you.

Join our Facebook Community - Love Yourself - Women Inspiring Women with Liz Doyle

We all need support and inspiration from time to time. That is why I have put my FB group together and I’d love it if you wanted to join our Facebook community.

It’s called –

Love Yourself – Women Inspiring Women

The name of this group is pretty self explanatory – it’s all about loving ourselves, using the philosophies of the truly amazing Louise Hay and other enlightened and beautiful souls

I’ve been meaning to put this group together for a long time but I’m now here, always better late than never. So whether you have attended my workshops, courses or had coaching sessions with me, OR NOT, you are more than welcome.

Love is all there is or all you need is love (as the Beatles sang all those years ago).

But these sayings or even clichés are so true.

And Love has to start with loving self. How can we really, happily love others without loving ourselves first?

Self-love is the vibrational match for living your life with flow and joy.

It’s the foundation that allows us to be able to be open and receive all kinds of fun, laughter and even miracles in our lives.

It’s also the key that can unlock every single one of your intentions or goals that you might have — whether they’re about relationships, health, money or purpose.

You don’t have to work really hard to get self-love – it’s truly the essence of who we are.

It’s not something that is created or needs to be achieved.

All we have to do is dissolve the barriers that are blocking us and build up the energy in our bodies to experience the truth of who we really are.

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

Rumi

You can only receive in life what you believe you’re worthy of receiving. When you don’t have self-love, you don’t feel worthy of receiving everything that is out there, just waiting to flow to you.

How do you know when you have self-love?

You feel full inside. You have this feeling that all is well with you and with the world. You’re open to letting love and fun and all sorts of yummy things into your life.

Now here’s the tricky bit – Self-love is completely unconditional. It doesn’t depend upon how clever, talented, productive, or “perfect” you are. You simply love yourself no matter what is going on in your life.

You DON’T have to earn it. It is yours…

My Facebook community is all about reminding you of how magnificent you are and how you don’t have to prove one thing to anyone and especially not to yourself, to know your worthiness.

The group is a safe space for women to be inspired and to inspire each other so I welcome you to share in the group as much as you wish too.

That could be with inspiring posts, ideas or maybe asking for support.

I, of course, will be popping in every few days to share my thoughts and insights – not all the time as I don’t want it to be overwhelming for you or me.

The main thing to remember is that we are here for each other – there is no judgement, just compassion and love!

My belief is that we all have the power to share love which can help everyone on this planet to love themselves and others more – and it can start right here and right now.

Love Yourself Heal Your Life

Love Yourself Heal Your Life

Love yourself and heal your life with me, Liz Doyle. It sounds so simple and we all know it’s not that simple. Well it is pretty simple but somehow we can make it all so complicated. I know I did.

That’s why I know how powerful the work I share is. I’ve been there and have come through the other side.

Don’t get me wrong, I still have days where I question myself, or I don’t feel good enough or I am right in the middle of self-sabotage and procrastination.

But unlike the old days where these feelings would only escalate and I would be dragged down a rabbit hole or whirlpool of self-criticism and sometimes self-hate; I now have so much compassion for myself and remind myself that I am doing the best I can and that these feelings will pass.

I tell myself I am amazing and that I love myself no matter what. I don’t have to be perfect to love myself. I can love this woman who is writing this blog to you, right now, with no conditions.

How has this transformation taken place?

By having a daily practice and using my tools of self-love which I share with my clients in my Love Yourself coaching sessions.

This work has helped many thousands of people to make positive changes in their lives.

These 6 sessions are an absolutely lovely thing to give to yourself for your own personal growth. You will be in a totally confidential, safe and supportive environment.

This is for you if you are ready to:

* Eliminate negative thinking
* Heal the past and stop sabotaging your life
* Have healthier relationships
* Replace self-criticism with self-approval
* Create a life you love

You will:

* Release resentments and old emotions
* Learn techniques for personal healing in all areas of your life
* Experience a fuller understanding of the power of self-love
* Learn mirror work, visualisation and the use of affirmations

These sessions are based on the teachings developed by the icon, Louise L. Hay, internationally renowned teacher and best-selling author, a pioneer in personal development.

You may also like to have a look at this article I wrote for Fresh Home Living Magazine with ideas of how you can love yourself even when life gets messy and it sure can sometimes, can’t it – this is the link

This is what a few of the participants on previous sessions had to say about working with me:

“Attending Liz’s session far exceeded my expectations. I was moved emotionally and can honestly say the work of Louise Hay is truly inspiring and of great benefit in terms of my own personal growth. Liz is caring and engaging… and I would highly recommend attending her sessions.”

Tracey

“Interesting and thought provoking… It was easy to open up and discuss our thoughts in a safe environment. Liz was compassionate, engaging and positive in her approach. She enabled us all to feel part of the discussion and to learn more about ourselves”

Ali

“Liz’s way of leading the sessions was like having a lovely time with a trusted, close friend. I felt very safe, I was heard and felt empowered. Afterwards, I have only one thing to say to myself, Yes Peggy, you can do it! Thank you Liz”

Peggy

“Liz has a welcoming and trustful presence. She communicates with warmth and her sessions took me on a journey towards greater life fulfilment. I enjoyed her wise presence and now feel inspired to take action to lead my best life.”

Liz

“Very helpful session on affirmations and how they can influence our lives. A relaxed delivery in a safe environment. Because Liz shared aspects of her life, I felt I could share new insights”
